Project Overview
"Spectral Diaries" is a sonic portal to a world beyond the human. By recreating/imagining various sounds of plants, such as the Earth Hum, Root Clicks, Xylem Sounds, Stress Screams, Drought Alarms, and Responses to Sounds of Bees, we created a soundscape composition that allowed the listener to enter a world of mystical yet scientific wonder.
