As a team of UIX/ information designers Gracia and I are working together to bring this tool to life, in collaboration with Ryan from JPL, NASA to empower Helio-physics researcher's at the frontier of science discovery. This project is supported by the national science foundation (NSF), USA.
Presented at the Knowledge Graphs Conference (KGC) 2024, New York
About the Sponsor: Helio-KNOW is funded through the NASA Heliophysics Early Career Investigator Program (ECIP)) under 'Ryan McGranaghan'. The Heliophysics KNOWledge Network (Helio-KNOW) is a new and possibly disruptive data analytic approach for a system-level understanding and prediction of MI coupling phenomena, applicable to our diverse multi-point, multi-parameter, sparsely-sampled SWMI datasets.( description as provided by sponsor on https://github.com/rmcgranaghan/Helio-KNOW)
About the Project: This project builds on a foundation that includes identification of phenomena, a conceptual model, and identification of datasets that cover these phenomena, this project will create a prototype KG and/or applications for MI coupling phenomena.
Impact: to be able to describe phenomena ontologically and to provide data organized by them is vital to KGs being used to support physical scientific discovery and to cross-disciplinary inquiry.
This project is ongoing.
I'll be happy to walk you through detailed design process upon request.
